Patient guide

Which route should you use?

A short guide for new patients, existing patients, emergencies, privacy and languages — including where appointment booking takes place.

Not for emergencies.

Do not use either website for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 112 now or go to the nearest emergency department.

In Belgium, call Zelfmoordlijn 1813 for Dutch-speaking support or the Centre de Prévention du Suicide on 0800 32 123 for French-speaking support. Both are free, anonymous and available 24/7.

You do not need to be certain you are going to hurt yourself to call. You can call simply because things feel bad and you want someone to talk to.

If you're a new patient

Email info@drpaunicapsychiatry.be with the patient's name, date of birth, phone number and email address. Check the Doctoranytime agenda for an available 90-minute window and include your preferred date and time. Dr. Paunica will enter and confirm the first appointment.

The 90-minute initial evaluation costs €220. For a new child or adolescent patient, a parent must also obtain a referral letter from the family physician before the evaluation.
